Xiaomi does not stop its work for a moment and is already preparing the MIUI 13.5 landing of the android layer. The Chinese company wants to repeat the methodology of the previous version, introducing an intermediate update full of improvements as happened with MIUI 12.5, which was very well received among users, who cannot wait any longer to enjoy it.
Currently, practically all users who have a Xiaomi smartphone already enjoy the news of MIUI 13, except for those devices that do not have compatibility. That is why all eyes are on the next renewal of the software, although the brand has not made the arrival date official.
MIUI 13.5 approximate date
Although the entity has not provided details about the beginning of the deployment of MIUI 13.5, we can make a approximation based on previous updates of the system. It should be noted that this is a mere orientation and that there is nothing confirmed by Xiaomi itself.
It is necessary to recapitulate what happened before to establish a key date. The MIUI 13 release It was scheduled for December 28, 2021, that is, almost a year after the arrival of MIUI 12.5. So if the Asian tech giant decides to repeat the strategy, we may see MIUI 13.5 after eight months from the current version. This means that the intermediate update will occur at end of augustie next month.
On the other hand, keep in mind that Google plans introduce android 13 stable also during August, so it would not be surprising that Xiaomi has made the decision to release its patch simultaneously, although another option is that it decides to wait a little longer. In this case MIUI 13.5 would reach the entity’s terminals in September.
Mobiles that will receive the update
Although we do not know the exact date of its landing, the company has provided the list with smartphones who intend to experience the change of the personalization layer.
At first there were only 56 devices that were going to carry it out, but recently Xiaomi has announced that 124 will be chosen for it, of which 41 belong to the company itself, while the Redmi models monopolize the version with 62 phones compared to 21 from the independent POCO division. However, we will exclude those distributed only in China. Below you can check if you are one of the lucky ones, but first you will be interested in knowing a trick to update MIUI first.
